What about a Hall Of Fame?

I think that would be cool! A place to exhibit only the best creations made in beads by users here or elsewhere. Not to make any competition, but only to gather the best of the best and the most impressive pieces in one place. That could also give motivation to some to make even more impressive project!

We could make some required criterias like the size, originality, etc...

And in the thread, we submit creation that we think are fiting and we discuss about it, if it deserve to be there or not (all in a respectful way).

That could be epic and fun... Just saying:)

It could also be pretty depressing for people who never get nominated. Just sayin'.

They should lose their depressed gland and replace it with another awesome gland. True story.

Seconded. I think this would be a cool idea. It's not saying anyone who doesn't get nominated is not good at what they do, it just means that certain people are the best (or at least very noteworthy). This happens to people every day, even if its not always publicized. :gentleman:

We don't have to see this like a competition at all. I personnaly don't think I have a project that could be worthy of it either. But it can be a good reward for the efforts some beaders put into their creations to have them "exposed" in a special thread.

If getting rid of depression were that simple, my life would be a lot easier. But I guess that's a topic for a different section of the forum.

I could see this being a really spiffy thing. But I've also seen this sort of thing mis-handled and causing all sorts of trouble, so I guess I'm just a bit wary of it.

Eventually someone will get this and high five me.

You could start by taking 1 piece from the top 10-20 threads in the showroom to include everyone, then go from there.
